With so many design topics, where to begin?
After much thought, I decided to root for the underdog - mid-century modern! While we won't be on this topic forever, I do plan to post a few entries on it! My decision was inspired by the bravery of my sister-in-law who took her 1950's ranch house and made it cool again! Shout out to you, Dana Lynn!
This chair was my great-aunt's. I've always loved it, but it's never fit with my decor. It has great color and style, but just as importantly, it has sentimentality and memories.
Now it's found a home at Dana Lynn's. It works perfectly in her living area and brings a smile to my face every time I see it! Nothing says home like a family heirloom. I'd encourage you to find a piece, even a small one that brings back positive memories and incorporate it into your home!
